Expert Fireplace & Chimney Installations

There are a number of benefits to adding a fireplace, stove or other heating appliance to your home. There’s the personal enjoyment of sitting around a warm fire with your friends and family; the added heating possibilities; and the aesthetic boost a beautiful new appliance can bring to a room. There are broader benefits, too. Studies have shown that a fireplace or stove can make your home more attractive to potential buyers. According to the National Association of Home Builders, new home buyers voted fireplaces as the No. 2 feature they desired (right behind outdoor living space). And the National Association of Realtors points out that nearly 50 percent of home buyers would be willing to pay more for a home with a fireplace. If you have an old, malfunctioning or outdated fireplace or stove, you’ll see numerous energy benefits to upgrading to a modern appliance. Modern fireplaces, stoves and inserts are built to exacting standards and pass rigorous safety testing to ensure that they’re highly efficient and very safe. Installation can also be quick and easy, particularly with inserts, which can be retrofitted into an existing unit. Advanced Chimney Techniques recommends and installs a variety of different fireplaces and other heating products. And if you just need a part replaced — like a chase cover, chimney cap or chimney damper — we’re here to help with that, too.

Advanced Chimney Techniques Commonly Installs The Following

Gas Fireplaces, Stoves & Inserts

Gas is a popular and convenient fuel that many homeowners love. We can install a new gas fireplace, stove, or insert into your home, or convert an existing wood-burning unit into a gas-burning one.

Wood-Burning Fireplaces, Stoves & Inserts

Wood-burning appliances will always be classic. When most of us think of sitting by a fireplace, we think of the warm crackle of a roaring, wood fire. At Advanced Chimney Techniques, we service and install a variety of wood-burning units, from classic-looking stoves to modern peninsula fireplaces.

New Class A Chimneys

A Class A chimney is a high-quality, complete, standalone unit made with stainless steel, that can be installed on the outside of a home or through the roof to vent nearly any fuel. These are highly insulated, so clearance between the chimney and nearby combustible materials can be as little as two inches.

Chase Covers

The top of your factory-built fireplace unit should have a chase cover, and if it’s damaged or leaking or you need a new one installed, our CSIA-certified technicians can help.

Chimney Caps

A chimney cap protects your flue from water, snow and animals. If yours is damaged or missing, we can replace it with a functional and beautiful new cap.

Dampers

A chimney damper blocks off the flue when it isn’t in use, and helps keep out water and cut down on the loss of conditioned air. If your damper is stuck or damaged, we can inspect it and replace it, if necessary.

Advanced Chimney Techniques can handle all your installation needs, from a simple chimney cap to a  new fireplace unit. Call, email, or make an appointment online — our technicians will be glad to help you find what you need, and install it for you.
